On Becoming a Lifetime Trustee to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation
The Hub Corporation has become a Lifetime Trustee of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF). Our chairman, Adam Price, will represent us on UAF’s board of trustees. This commitment reflects the purpose behind our company.
Our patented technologies are the vehicle through which we sustain our livelihood in the heavy-duty industry. They support our team, fund continued development, and allow us to build a lasting business. But those technologies remain secondary to our purpose: improving safety, serviceability, consistency, and reliability for the people who depend on heavy-duty equipment every day.
The value of an invention comes from the problem it helps solve. Can it simplify a technician’s work? Make an inspection easier? Deliver a more consistent service result? Address a failure people have learned to accept. Those questions drive us.
Challenge the Standard® is a mindset of remaining curious, questioning the way things have always been done, and finding practical ways to solve problems. That starts with listening.
Technicians, parts professionals, and fleet operators bring experience and recurring frustrations that deserve our attention. Understanding why something is difficult, time-consuming, or unreliable gives us a place to begin improving it.
Then comes the responsibility to investigate, develop, test, and refine. Challenging a standard means doing the work to offer something better.
Supporting UAF extends that commitment to the next generation. Through scholarships and educational grants, the Foundation helps people prepare for careers in the aftermarket. We want to help them build the knowledge and confidence to contribute, and to ask their own questions.
We earn our place by solving problems. We strengthen the industry’s future by investing in people who will keep solving them.
