- Referencia cruzada: Stemco 4024, SKF 1612, 1711, 1811 y National 340-024

WHAT USERS ARE SAYING
When I was filling up, I saw that my oil was really black so I drained and refilled it with new oil before I even finished filling my tank. That's not something you can do with any other hub cap.

Owner Operator based in Michigan
I've never seen another hub cap built this well. It is easy to install and the filter is a really smart way to remove contamination that wears on bearings.
Vlad K.
Mobile Diesel Mechanic based in North Carolina
I was skeptical at first, but once I opened the cartridge and saw how full of gunk the filter was, I was sold. Won't ever use a different hub cap on my equipment.

Faqs
Why does hub oil need to be filtered?
Over time bearings and seals wear, which increases friction and elevates operating temperature inside the wheel-end system. These conditions accelerate parts wear and decrease fuel efficiency. Filtering hub oil breaks this deterioration cycle and improves system performance.
Isn't a magnetic plug enough?
Magnets capture ferrous particles, but much of the contaminant load in a hub is not magnetic. The multistage filter in The Xtractor captures both magnetic and non-magnetic particles.
How often should I check my oil?
Installed on an existing hub, you should perform your first visual check of your hub oil and filter after 25K-30K miles. Thereafter every 60K-75K miles is sufficient. Your own operating conditions will ultimately dictate inspection frequency.
How do I know if the filter needs changing?
When a visual inspection of the filter reveals wear metals stuck to the magnets and/or a sludgy slurry accumulating inside the mesh, oil should be drained and the filter should be cleaned or replaced.
How do I change the filter?
If the filter is clogged simply replace the entire HexThread Cartridge. It comes fully assembled with a brand new sight glass, plug, and filter.
