The Hub Corp’s new approach to hubcap architecture enables capabilities that simply were not available within oil bath wheel-end systems before. This evolution requires revisiting, and evolving, the existing Recommended Practices.

The hubcap is no longer just a containment solution, it’s a performance driver, a diagnostic interface, and a service access point, none of which current RP language recognizes, measures, or guides. 

The Xtractor hubcap asks the industry to look at what is working in the field and decide whether current standards reflect the best available practice, or simply the most recent one. As data matures, we will share it openly and participate in any technical review TMC chooses to conduct.
